“I was born in Schillingsfürst in 1983, completed an apprenticeship as an industrial electronics technician as well as successfully completed my studies as a graduate engineer (FH) in physical electronics. As a technical operations manager for citizen wind farms in Bavaria, I dealt with the issue of bat shutdowns at an early stage.
The best solution for me was to develop our own flexible system. Our Fleximaus and our know-how allow us to offer reliable optimizations for wind farms with species protection requirements and to significantly increase the performance of the wind farms despite compliance with the requirements.
It is my personal concern to support wind energy and the conversion of electricity generation to renewable energies. For a future worth living for our children. My switch to wind energy was the first step and now I can support wind power in Europe and reduce climate change with my own system."

Stefanie Hahn | Assitant to the management
My name is Stefanie Hahn, I was born in Nuremberg in 1985 and trained as an industrial clerk.
I joined Fleximaus in 2023 in search of a new challenge. Nature conservation and environmental protection are important concerns for me and I see it as my duty to make a contribution for future generations. In my role as an assistant to the management, or "girl for everything", I support the team wherever I can. The fact that I live in the same town reinforces the feeling of community and teamwork.

Christian Freiman | Project management
“My name is Christian Freiman; I was born in Rothenburg in 1985 and completed my studies as an environmental engineer (FH) from the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences. Since 2013, I have also been working as a technical operations manager for renewable energies.
I came to Fleximaus GmbH through Jochen Rößler – we met years ago at our former employer. When he presented his idea to me in 2014, I was immediately enthusiastic: establishing Fleximaus as our own product on the market together has been a journey with many exciting challenges for me to this day.”

Reinhard Kirchner | Shareholder
“I was born in Bamberg in 1991, have been a farmer practically since birth and have been a technical manager for renewable energies since 2014.
As a farmer, I naturally have a heart for the environment ... especially for my region and the people I live with. For this reason, my father and I have developed a citizen wind farm. We still operate this very successfully with the help of Fleximaus. From there, the step to becoming a shareholder in this innovative company was not far away.”

Markus Nehfischer | Software development
“In the beginning, there was the unassuming question of whether I could occasionally support Jochen in the software-side development of a new tool called Fleximaus. Over time, the ‘occasionally’ disappeared and many joint ideas and busy years later, the small tool became a comprehensive toolbox, which is useful for renewable energies and nature conservation and for the architecture and development of which I am responsible.
I see nature conservation as a basic prerequisite and renewable energies as an excellent, important way for a future worth living, also for future generations. So my commitment to Fleximaus comes not only from an interest in the professional challenge, but also from conviction.”

Ralf Ehrenschwender | Service and installation
“I was born in Erlangen in 1997, completed an apprenticeship as a mechatronics engineer and then further training as a state-certified technician specialising in electrical engineering – since then I have been working in the electrical sector and software development.
In 2021, I decided to take the step towards renewable energies and took over the service and installation of our system at Fleximaus GmbH. I have been passionate about electricity from a young age, especially renewable energies, as they are sustainable and therefore essential for the energy transition.”

Alexander Zierbeck | Software development
I am Alex, born in 1987 in the beautiful Allgäu region, and I have a degree in computer science as well as an M.Sc. in artificial intelligence..
Since 2010, I have been successfully pursuing my self-employed activity in the field of hardware and software development.
Since 2018, I have been leading the design and implementation around Fleximaus as an external programmer. My main tasks include integrating the many different interfaces of the wind farms into the Fleximaus system, connecting my own sensors as well as programming various monitoring, evaluation and auxiliary tools. Working together for many years has developed into a close friendship with the team and the subject area, and I am delighted to be a part of it and to be able to bring my expertise to this place with passion.”
